Chris' career accomplishments
2001 Winter Tour Results
Currently ranked #5 in the World
Power Rankings, Chris finished in the top ten
in a number of statistical categories:
earnings (8th-28,100)
championship round appearances (T4th-2)
average (8th-216.28).
In addition, to finishing third
to Norm Duke in a very close race for Bowler of the Year,
Chris was awarded the George Young
High Average Award and the Harry Smith Point
Leader Award. These help to recognize
the dominance Chris displayed week in and week out
throughout the tour swing. While the wins were elusive, but Chris'
stature as a top player on tour is secure.
Chris did not go unnoticed in
the media. An ESPY nomination and full spread photo in the April
2 issue
of Sports Illustrated show the gaining visiblity of professional
bowling, and Chris' prominence, in mainstream sports.
